Windows of Diocletian Palace … [Croatia]

Croatia is one of my favorite tourist destinations. It is just outside my current Top-5 (USA (Duh!), Russia, Norway, Greece and Jordan). Beautiful seas/beaches, historical and pretty towns … Just a very pretty country.

Though not as popular as Dubrovnik, Split is worth a visit. One of the prime sights in Split is Diocletian Palace. The palace was built in 4th Century, for Roman Emperor Diocletian. It is a part of the Old Town and the streets within this walled palace are very nice for exploring on foot. There are so many eateries and souvenir stores around. One of the uniqueness I noticed was the pretty wooden windows.

Adios!
