One of the best cities to visit in the World, Stockholm hit the right spots for me. It is also the city where I managed to stay in two unique hostels, a Jumbo Jet turned into a hostel (Jumbo Hostel), and a Clipper ship turned into a hostel (af Chapman). It was very nice to interact with fellow tourists, over beer of course 🙂
Oops … A very poor photo, I am well aware 🙂 It was so dark inside the Vasa museum. The ship Vasa had sunk in the 17th Century and after many years at the bottom of the sea, the ship was restored and is now a famous tourist attraction.Inside the Jumbo Hostel … It was indeed a very unique experience. As we can expect, the rooms are small, but the uniqueness of the experience is what counts, IMHO.Jumbo Hostel … The cafeteria area. You get a breakfast box with the typical items. As you can note, I am an early morning person … 🙂Jumbo Hostel … Yup, there is a decent choice of eatables. The entrance to the Jumbo Hostel … I did not see any Air Hostesses around, though. The person at the front desk was the all-in-one support.

I would recommend that they do more frequent cleaning, especially of the bathrooms.af Chapman Hostel … Early in the morning.Stockholm City Hall … We can go up the tower, as a part of the tour. The Tour Guide … Stockholm City Hall English Tour.
